  This week in maths we have worked on Data and graphs. We used I pads and computers to create our own graphs online.

Directed Numbers 6th Class 2019

We are learning directed numbers in Maths. We learned the rules of adding and subtraction. To make it easier, we drew giant number lines outside and we walked the line when Mr Coppinger called out sums for us. It is fun to learn outside.

Chance 2019 6th class 2109

We are learning about chance in Maths with Mr Coppinger. We used dice and playing cards to do chance activities. 

4th Class Perimeter Challenge

We are studying perimeter this week in maths and we got to have some fun with it today...in the sun! 

In pairs we drew 2D regular and irregular shapes in the yard with chalk and then had to measure the perimeter.  When Ms Giblin told us to stop, we had to measure the other shapes in the yard and see who measured closest to our answer. We had such a laugh and we won’t forget how to measure the perimeter of a shape anytime soon!
